I just want to say how pleased my family is with Gabrielle’s experience and development as a result of your child-centered program. Gabrielle has, at times, been painfully shy about being on stage or up front. To see her on Thursday sing a solo, speak, dance and act was truly heart warming.
During her participation in the program she never voiced disinterest or apprehension with attending. Your teachers demonstrated ability yet warmth.
Your philosophy and mission are to be commended, particularly in the competitive society in which we live. Thank you so much for giving my Gabbi a “voice”.
Donna G. – granddaughter Gabrielle, age 5
I just want to say how much my husband, mom, and I all enjoyed seeing the production of "Fiddler on the Roof" in December. Our daughter Cat had been working on it all semester with your wonderful staff and the other children in Applause. This was Cat’s first experience with Applause for Kids, so we didn’t know, frankly, what to expect of the show. Wow!! We were delighted and amazed! The children’s talents were so well showcased, and each child seemed to be genuinely enjoying herself/himself as they performed for us. I believe the children’s comfort level on stage in front of a live audience reflected their capabilities as well as the talent of your staff in their work with children. Please express to your staff our appreciation of their work. As a preschool teacher, I teach children ages 4 & 5, using the Italian Reggio approach to learning (at St. Anne’s Day School), which begins with the premise that children are born competent and desire to be self-sufficient and challenged. My experience with children parallels what your program promotes: the concept that children will rise to their potential and do their best work when given space, support, and materials with which to work. Children are NOT to be underestimated, as is proven at Applause for Kids! Thank you for the values you promote. Last fall, Cat ALWAYS came home from Applause with a smile on her face, having enjoyed her 2 hours with new friends and “cool” grown up leaders. Then, seeing their finished product and hearing about the experience from Cat when it was all over has made Applause fans of Horace and me. We believe so strongly in what you do, and how you nurture children. Kudos and Bravo!

We took our daughter to cheerleading camp and people were turning around and askin, "Where did she get all this talent?" We answered, "At Applause for Kids." She shined above all the others and we know it is because of he self-esteem she got from Applause.

My daughter Lilia has autism. I registered in Applause with hesitation last fal, since I did not know how she wouldo in the environment with her sensory disfunction issues.
She loves all of her classs here (singing, actin, tap/jazz). She id great during the Fall 2004 performance. She was even able to get up in front of 30-40 friends and do her solo performance of a song from "Wizard of Oz" at a Christmas gathering.
I am so pleasd with the self-confidence that she has gained during this program.
Thank you Applause!

Applause has been a blessing for both of our children. It has helped them build their self-confidence and taught them learn how to work as a group.. and because Jennifer and Larry are both parents of children, feel ttallycomfortable entrusting my children to their care.

Applause...For Kids has helped my children to be more confident. I love the family atmosphere of the studio. It’s obvious how much the teachers love what they are doing and most of all the children. My kids are constantly asking if they have acting today.
Louanne B. – Alpharetta, daughters Mallie age 5 and Emma age 3.5
Applause...For Kids has helped my children discover their voices. My children tend to be very timid when introduced to a new environment. It is miraculous the transformation that has taken place since they have been attending Applause. They are bolder and more confident in all circumstances. My husband and I really believe Applause...For Kids is helping us mold two wonderful, self-confident people.
Donna P. – Atlanta, son Alex age 4 and daughter Grace age 2
This program has helped build confidence, compassion for others as well as specific articulation skills in my students.

I cannot speak highly enough about Applause... For Kids and what it has done for my daughter Isabella. Isabella is 7 years old and has a lot of creative energy. Applause has helped her channel that energy in a positive way and has boosted her self-esteem. Last month Isabella had to give a presentation in front of her classmates and their parents. She spoke with such confidence and clarity. I thank Applause for that.
I am so grateful to Larry and Jennifer for creating such a loving and positive environment for kids. Applause... For Kids is truly a place where kids can be themselves and more. There is no place like it in Atlanta.

I have two children that attend Applause...For Kids. My 4 year old, Sam, has become noticeably calmer and more focused in the short time he has been going. My 10 year old, Claire, has gained poise and confidence that has shown itself several times when she has had to speak at her elementary school. The nurturing environment at Applause has encouraged Claire to be more expressive of her feelings.

My 5 year old daughter, Carson has absolutely loved her experience at Applause. She has had fun and improved a few speech issues through her voice class. We love Jennifer and Larry and look forward to more great experiences with them and their staff!

Simply outstanding! Everything done at Applause...for Kids is done with a high standard of excellence. It's remarkable that they are able to motivate kids to express themselves so well in such a short period of time. Most importantly, the result is positive re-enforcement to each child's self-esteem and self-confidence. Applause...For Kids is a tremendous experience for kids of all ages.

Landis has had such a fantastic experience in everything she has participated in at Applause! It’s wonderful to hear her sing sons that I grew up singing. And such a comfort to know that she is in such good hands and having such a blast while she’s here. I look forward to many more years of watching her performances at Applause For Kids. Thank You!

We are so thrilled and appreciative of the special attention you all gave Harper and Colton. We feel that for the first time they felt safe and happy away from home. Thank goodness!! We are excited to continue to watch them bloom under your talented and loving studio.

Applause for Kids is the best thing that ever happened to our children! From the moment we met Larry and Jennifer Salberg we knew that our children woul be hooked on theatre. Jennfier and Larry have a way with kids that is so unbelievable. I always tell people that they love other people's kids moer than anyone else. Their talent, dedication, and enthusiasm is a winning combination that is emarkable.
My older daughter was "born to perform" and Applause has been the highlight of her week since she began taking classes there at age 5. She is encouraged in such a healthy and supportive way.
What Applause has done for my younger daughter is truly amazing. In such a short time, we have watched Linsey grow from a shy and reserved child to one who now speaks up and is self-confident. Before Applause, she hid in her sister's shadow...now she is able to be expressive, assertive, and enjoy other's attention. Teachers at school have noticed and commented on the difference.
Atlanta is lucky to have Applause and Jennifer and Larry Salberg are true treasures!
