Mira Hirsch has had the honor and privilege of working with a number of Atlanta’s professional theater companies – such as the Academy Theatre, Theater Emory, Theatrical Outfit and Theatre in the Square – as an actor, director, teacher and administrator.  In 1995, she founded her own theater company, Jewish Theatre of the South, and served as its Artistic Director for the whole of its 13 seasons – overseeing the production of numerous plays and outreach programs. An almost-Atlanta-native, she holds a degree in theater from the University of Denver.  Mira has directed numerous summer theater camps over the years, and is thrilled to now be spending her first summer with her friends at Applause this year!
